Back before IC SD70's became commonplace leaders again on the Chicago Subdivision, IC 1029 leads M371 through Ashkum, Illinois back in 2017.

IC 1026 leads CN M371 south through Ashkum, Illinois as it passes the old IC tower and signal bridge.

CN C40-8M 2401 leads M399 south through the small town of Ashkum.

Rolling right along through Ashkum, the M399 continues its southbound journey along the old IC. Despite being out of service for several years, the old interlocking tower still stands.
